When good things happen, we like to ‘ring the bell’ and spread the good word! 🔔
Today we’re ringing the bell for Dinner Bell farmer-owner Leroy Eggink of Sibley, Iowa, for being named a Ralph Keeling Award winner.
This award is presented annually in honor of the late Ralph Keeling to two Iowans who have shown outstanding leadership in Iowa’s dairy industry. Keeling operated a successful dairy farm and business, devoting much of his time and talents to progressing Iowa’s dairy industry.
Leroy has an undeniable passion for farming and more specifically the dairy industry. The Eggink family has built a healthy, high-producing dairy herd, utilizing their land and its bounty all while advancing the Iowa dairy industry.
By serving on numerous boards within the dairy industry, Leroy has been committed to the betterment of his community. He has held active roles in numerous dairy organizations, including the Iowa Holstein Association, AMPI, DHIA and the Iowa State Dairy Association. In addition, Leroy and his family have long supported dairy youth programs, most notably the creation and continued support of the Iowa-Minnesota Youth Dairy Show.
Congratulations, Leroy! Keep up the great work. 👏
