Net zoals Diny, Berdena en ik ons verleden jaar de Egginksisters noemden , zijn dit de Egginksisters van toen. Alle zes zussen Eggink, ie-j wet wel, van Johan en Dientje van ‘de Boskamp’.
Van l. naar r. Hanna, Dika, Heintje, Dina, Jo en de jongste, Mies, zijn er even voor gaan staan en hebben er plezier in zo te zien. Volgens mij staan ze keurig op leeftijd. Jo moet natuurlijk nog even controleren of alles klopt. Tja …en dan staat je gezicht er maar half op. Ze hebben vast tegen elkaar gezegd: "Disse foto sture wi-j naor Herman en Nettie in Amerika".
Ik mocht bij tante Jo de fotoboeken die er lagen meenemen om te scannen en ik heb er een schat aan foto’s bij gekregen. De Egginksfamilie heeft er wat af gefotografeerd. Geweldig. De leukste zal ik laten zien.
Deze foto is van vóór 1938. Toen verongelukte tante Dina immers.

Just like we said last year, Diny, Berdena and I, we are the Eggink sisters. These are the Eggink sisters at those times.
All six of the Eggink sisters, as you know, from Johan and Dientje at the Boskamp.
From l. to the r.: Hanna, Dika, Heintje, Dina, Jo and the youngest one Mies. They just went for a relaxed picture. I think they are standing just on the right place—oldest to the youngest one. Jo had to do the last control of course. Tja… and than you see only half of her face. They might have said to each other: ”This one we’ll send to America to Herman and Nettie”.
I was allowed to take the family- photo-books with me to Emmen to scan the pictures and I’ve got a treasure of all kind of photo’s. Wonderful! I’ll show you in time the most lovely ones.
These picture is from before 1938. Then Dina died in that terrible accident.
