Inderdaad is Ellen Kroeze’s schilderstijl helder en figuratief. Ze trekt alles net even uit het verband en plaatst voorwerpen in een andere omgeving waardoor het vervreemdend werkt. Dit heeft te maken met het verhaal dat ze vertellen wil.
