Even tijd om te verkleden en dan gaan we richting Charlie. Nog even langs de nieuwste wijk van Sibley en dan gaat het richting Allendorf waar de familie Eggink in een prachtig verbouwd huis woont dat daarvoor als kerk diende.
Ook hier worden we hartelijk ontvangen. De lunch staat klaar met allerlei lekkere dingen zoals ham en mais en salade. Daarna laat Charlie ons aan de hand van heel veel foto’s hun reis meebeleven naar Alaska. Ze hebben nooit gereisd, maar dit is erg goed bevallen. Wie weet komen ze nog eens onze kant op.
[i]Just time for changing clothes and then… to Charlie and Leone. Harold shows us the newest houses in Sibley and then onto Allendorf where the family lives in a beautiful rebuild house that used to be the church. In his bedroom the place where the preacher stood.
It’s also a warm welcome. Lunch is ready with all kinds of tastful food, ham, corn and salad.
Charlie tells about their trip to Alaska and shows us all the pictures, very impressive. They didn’t travel much, but this was a good one. You never know… perhaps once they will go to us and visit their father’s country and family.[/i]
