Behalve de grote steun voor Harold is Luella ook een bezige bij en naast het bijhouden van haar tuin houdt ze ook van quilten. Toen ze een jaar of 5 geleden naar Nederland kwam had ze als cadeautje ook een mooi klein gequilt tafelkleedje voor mij en anderen meegebracht, met gestyleerde tulpen er op. Dat ze er nog steeds graag mee bezig is bewijst dit laatste werkstuk van haar hand. En ook de tulp houdt haar nog steeds in de ban.
Spreken hier toch de Nederlandse roots van de familie mee?

This picture shows us she is still quilting. This is her last product of quilting.You see… the tulip is still favourite.
