When we moved to our place at het Schoolpad, we didn’t only see the beautiful sight over the farmland, but also the wood nearby, the Oeverse bos.
The Oeverse bos is for us our backyard. In it is a very silent place, an open space where we once spotted a roe and always a lot of birds. All those years we walked through it with the dogs. They always remain on the path. Sometimes, in summertime, the ferns on both sides are grown so high you can’t even see them. Queeny is so quick just like a young dog and takes the path three times. Tessa is eight years now and is calmer.
But since yesterday… I came with the dogs at the sandy road near the Oeverse bos and what is to be seen?… A board from the Emmer Community with very strict rules. No entering after sundawn, no motorbicycles… I can agree, but always keep your dog on a line is a bridge too far for me. Besides that… I did never see a human being over there and we always thought it is òur special place to go. I won ’t tell you what I’m going to do in the future… no no, but when you would like to join me.. you’re welcome ….
