In tante Jo’s album zat ook deze foto met het onderschrift: de kattekraom van tante Jantje. Tante Jantje was niet alleen gek met kinderen maar ook met haar huisdieren, een hele zooi katten en altijd een hond. Dit lijkt me dezelfde hondje Tilly van de foto bij opa. In de schuur op de achtergrond was de werkplaats van opa. Ik vond het altijd een soort van heilige plek omdat er verteld werd over die zelfgebouwde radio en de perpetuum mobile, de eeuwige beweger, die opa gebouwd had. Tot zijn grote spijt werd dat eeuwig precies een jaar en toen stond dat ding toch nog stil. Maar ja die plek….? Was voor mij iets wonderlijks.
In tante Jo’s photoalbum I found this picture with the subscription: De kattenkraom van tante Jantje—all cats stalled together–. Tante Jantje loved children as well as her animals, a lot of cats and always one dog. This one looks like that one from yesterday on that chair near opa. It maybe Tilly.
In the barn on the background was opa’s workshop. It was for me a kind of holy place because it was told about that radio opa had build and the perpetual motion which opa had build too, but , opa regretted that very much, only had moved for just one year. Tja…. that place… was both wonderful and strange to me.
